SPA

Welcoming you to our hotel, which, as you know, feels like home to us, means offering you a pleasant experience of relaxation, discovery, and well-being. That's why we've always placed great importance on attention to detail and spaces (which we love to personally manage), on the food offerings (which we strive to reflect our identity and local heritage), and on the wellness offerings (which we strive to maintain to be up-to-date and comprehensive).

Probably the first on the Verona shore of Lake Garda, we decided to equip our hotel with a large spa in the 1990s. Today, after nearly 30 years of service, we have decided to renew our quality standards and architectural principles, aiming to offer our guests a new wellness experience, combining aesthetic and physical pleasure.

The project, spanning over 400 square meters, was conceived by Nicolò Tedeschi who, following in the footsteps of his mother Annalisa, has developed various renovations in recent years, including the new entrance, the restyling of the gardens around outdoor pool, and the new Beauty & Wellness area on the first floor, giving the hotel a new modern allure in keeping with the classic atmosphere typical of the Regina Adelaide.

Architect Emilia Quattrina has expertly captured the owner's vision, designing every detail of the space, every piece of furniture, and every fixture. The materials, all local, combine innovative techniques with intellectual references to great architectural classics: the lime plaster, either crushed or washed, references Scarpa's laudable work; the Giallo Reale marble tiles that characterize the steam bath, echo 20th-century style. But what is certainly most striking is the almost mystical and rarefied atmosphere of the spaces; small "piazzas" dedicated to relaxation and conversation alternate with areas strongly characterized by the services offered. A continuous rhythm of compression and expansion of space accompanies the spa experience, to be experienced in free-flowing sequence and enjoyed strictly barefoot, walking on the limestone Biancone marble dotted with ammonite stones.

In addition to the 30°C heated pool (13x7 meters) with a whirlpool tub, you'll find:

  • at 90°C Finnish sauna, traditionally made with aromatic Swiss pine wood
  • at 65°C Mediterranean sauna, exclusively crafted for us from olive wood
  • a steam bath with a distinctive golden glow when wet
  • relaxation showers with various jets (pure cervical, vaporized, and rain)
  • two unique enclosed relaxation pools, one at 39°C (calidarium) and one at 18°C (frigidarium), for an intimate and introspective experience
  • a unique musical relaxation space
  • several relaxation areas with loungers overlooking the pool, seating for conversation, and a pleasant heated marble bench.

A welcoming herbal tea room offers relaxing or refreshing beverages, featuring a variety of infusions and flavored waters.

There is also a spacious changing room for external guests; soft terrycloth towels or complete kits (slippers and bathrobe) are available in the spa.

All wellness treatments and exclusive beauty experiences by Biologique Research will be available in the bright spaces of the Beauty & Wellness center on the first floor.

Opening hours:

From 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., free access to the indoor pool with hydromassage and the reaction pools.
From 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., free access to the saunas and steam bath.
From 6:00 p.m. onwards, access is reserved for adults (minimum 16 years old).

project: architect Emilia Quattrina

The project is based on the desire to create a playful space, capable of generating in guests a desire to explore. The discovery of spaces and services, concealed through a thoughtful layout, is a way of navigating the spaces: it helps make them personal and intimate. In short, it is a narrative space.

In this sense, it must be said that the Vals Thermal Baths project by architect Peter Zumthor was a great inspiration for us.
To create a space sufficiently free and open to interpretation, we preferred to move towards an overall monochrome, which nevertheless conceals subtle attention to the workmanship of the materials. It does not impose itself on the guest, but rather accompanies them in their navigation. A visual and tactile experience: the space is designed to be experienced barefoot.
